Bubble London!

A great start to the week here with a visit to Bubble London at the Business Design Center in Islington. 

As you know Mini*Bili by House of Bilimoria launched just a baby 3 months ago and we have been super excited to get along to the show to meet all the fabulous children's wear brands out there- PLUS the day packed with some great informational talks and seminars, in Bubble's very own "Look Who's Talking" Seminar Programme.

First off we made sure to get to the venue well in time for Buttercrumble's talk on branding. Buttercrumble are a sister act. A twin sister act! The talk was informative and fresh, great to see young fresh talent sharing their journey in the world of branding. 

What was super special was that they were gifting live illustrations after the talk. So we got a chance to get up close and personal, have a lovely chat- all whilst Chloe, illustrated our portraits. It was a great experience. And in fact the FIRST ever time that I personally had a portrait of myself drawn live.

Fiona Coleman, headed up a talk on trends for S/S 18 and what we would be able to find here at Bubble. Some of the trends that cropped up were: Nautical, Prarie, Palm Springs. All ones that we know, Mini*Bili fits in perfectly too. What's even better is seeing that so many end of line, and sustainable fabric choices will compliment where the trends are headed too. Looking forward to getting these going and photographed for you all to feast your eyes on!

Finally a more down to business talk about E-Commerce by Dan from the Statement Agency. With loads of useful, practical advise about the do's and don'ts in the cyber shopping world, we have our work cut out for us!!

And the cream in the cake was taking a wander round to discover the who's who! There were PLENTY of brands to oooo and ahh over.
