It’s been a busy few weeks for us here at the HOB studio in the lead up to our very first Stylist Live Weekend. This kick started our ‘Festive Calendar’, getting us out of the studio and taking our luxcycling across London to showcase the range we have to offer in products. 

Whether you’re stuck with finding a meaningful gift, or you’re looking to treat yourself with a new addition to the wardrobe (all zero-waste of course)- we’ll be coming to you throughout December to help fill stockings and hearts.  

Here is what we’ll be up to and where you can find us each weekend in the lead up to Christmas:

OPEN STUDIOS- SECOND FLOOR STUDIOS WEMBLEY PARK

Dates:Saturday 1^stDecember and Sunday 2^ndDecember 

Time:12pm- 6pm

Location: Studio MH01, Empire Way, Wembley HA9 0FY

First up, we’ll be hosting our second open studios at our hub in Wembley Park giving you the chance to walk straight in to see how the House of Bilimoria studio runs. 

You’ll be able to see our selection of beautiful fabrics, and discuss any ideas you have for garments you have in your wardrobes ready to up-cycle. We’ll be offering customers a chance to customise their very own purses by selecting outer fabrics, inner lining and have them personalised with embroidery. 

To mark this event Creative Director Shilpa, with the help of Astrid Jacoby founder of  Little Hands Design have re-arranged our entire studio space. This has truly opened up the space in which we work in, with relevant workstations to carry out daily tasks with ease. Our furniture has also been updated with Astrid kindly passing on her sturdy shelving unit of 22 years, first purchased at an IKEA in Berlin. It has journeyed across with her to the UK, at her Little Hands Studio and now finally it is ours! Being an LHD team member since 2007, it's a sentiment and delight to have items that keep well to our upcycle ethos! 

HONEST HOUSE CHRISTMAS MARKETPLACE

Time: 11am-6pm

Location: The Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL

We’re excited about this one, as it’s our first time setting up shop at the Old Truman Brewery for the Honest House Christmas Marketplace. A platform that highlights what House of Bilimoria has always represented at the core- Sustainability and Ethics in making. 

It will be a great chance for us to showcase alongside like-minded, luxury brands with a variety of products such as Artisan & Fox, Pure Raw Products and House of Buckley to name a few of who we’re looking forward to sharing the space with.

SO LAST CENTURY VINTAGE CHRISTMAS FAIR

Dates: Sunday 16^thDecember 

Time: 12-5pm

Location: Box Park Wembley

For the final weekend, we’ll be bringing it home to the new Box Park at Wembley Park with the So Last Century Vintage Christmas Fair. 

The one thing HOB has strived for over 5 years is to gain attention for local traders and this fair is here to do just that. 

Our local community will be able to get their hands on the very best of colourful gifts and Christmas essentials made from our fine fabrics. 

The spirit of a zero waste festive season is in full swing for us at House of Bilimoria and we can’t wait to share it with you and yours- whether it’s a ready made gift or bespoke!
